Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Savor mobile application and related services (together, the “Service”), operated by Exodus Technologies (“Savor”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Savor generates cooking recipes based on preferences you provide (occasion, cuisine, budget, ingredients, dietary needs) using artificial intelligence. Recipes are AI-generated content, offered as a starting point and general guidance for cooking — not professional culinary, nutritional, or medical advice. See Section 7 for important safety information.

• You must be at least 13 years old to create a Savor account.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
• Notify us immediately at the contact address below if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

Savor offers a free plan (5 recipe generations per month) and a paid Pro subscription (unlimited recipe generations) at the price displayed in the app at the time of purchase, currently GHS 34.99 per month.

• Auto-renewal. Your Pro subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. Payment is charged to your provided payment method through our payment processor, Paystack.
• Cancellation.You can cancel any time in Settings within the app. Cancelling stops future billing; you retain Pro access for the remainder of the period you've already paid for. We do not provide partial refunds for the unused portion of a billing period.
• Price changes.We may change subscription pricing. If we do, we'll provide reasonable advance notice before it applies to your next renewal, and you can cancel before then if you don't agree to the new price.
• Refunds.Except where required by applicable law, payments are non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we'll look into it.
• Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, we may retry it and may suspend Pro access until payment succeeds or you cancel.

“Your Content” means the preferences you submit and any name, note, or edit you add. You retain ownership of Your Content. By submitting it, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and process it solely to operate and improve the Service (for example, generating your recipe and displaying your cookbook to you).

Recipes generated for you are yours to use, cook, save, and share freely, including outside the app.

If you use the Share feature, you're granting anyone who receives that link the ability to view that specific recipe and, if they have Savor, save their own copy of it.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits, billing, or access controls;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except where applicable law permits;
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers/networks connected to it;
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our written permission;
• Impersonate any person or entity, or share a recipe in a way intended to mislead recipients about its origin.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

Recipes are generated by artificial intelligence based on the preferences you provide. While we work to make generated recipes coherent and authentic, AI-generated content can contain errors — including in ingredient quantities, cooking times, or temperatures.

• Always use safe food handling and cooking practices, including cooking meat, poultry, seafood, and eggs to safe internal temperatures.
• You are solely responsible for reviewing any recipe against your own allergies, intolerances, and dietary restrictions before cooking or eating it — Savor's dietary filters are a preference signal, not a medical guarantee.
• If you have a medical condition affected by diet, consult a qualified professional before relying on any recipe.
• Use common sense and your own judgment when following any recipe, AI-generated or otherwise.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Savor is not liable for any illness, injury, or harm resulting from preparing or consuming a recipe obtained through the Service.

The Service relies on third-party providers, including Supabase (hosting/authentication), Groq (recipe generation), and Paystack (payments). We are not responsible for outages, errors, or actions of these third parties, though we work to choose reliable providers and will help resolve issues where we can.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or if required by law. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 5, 7, 10, and 11) will survive.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any recipe will be accurate, safe, or suitable for your needs.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Savor and its officers, employees, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or GHS 100 if you have not paid us anything.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless a mandatory law of your country of residence requires otherwise.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll notify you in-app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
